Wedding Favours
Wedding favours are a gift from the bride and groom to all their guests, a little way of saying thank you for their presence on your special day. The tradition of giving favours dates back hundreds of years to European aristocrats that used to give their guests gifts called Bonbonniere's, a little trinket box made of porcelain, crystal, precious stones or metal. Inside was usually delicate sugar confections to show signs of the couple's wealth and royalty. Later, sugar became more afordable and was then replaced with almonds.
